How to Play Daily Solitaire

The goal of Daily Klondike Solitaire Turn 1 is to move all the cards from the tableau and stockpile to the four foundation piles. Foundation piles must ascend from ace to king and be organized by suit.

Cards in the tableau must be arranged in descending order and alternating color. You could move the ten of spades on top of the jack of hearts, for example.

You can run through the stockpile as many times as you’d like. Stockpile cards help your gameplay by freeing up facedown cards and revealing cards that can be used in your next move or placed in foundation piles. If no more moves are available, you lose the game.

The good news is that you can play Daily Solitaire games as many times as you want until you win!

Daily Solitaire Calendar

Track your progress with our Game of the Day Calendar. Every day that you play and win will be shaded green and shows how quickly you completed the challenge.

You can play seven other Daily Solitaire games in addition to Klondike Turn 1, all of which offer different challenges. Some of these versions of Solitaire are more difficult, while others can help you develop different Solitaire strategies.

If you need a reminder, here are the objectives and differences of each Solitaire card game.

  • Klondike Turn 3: Similar to Klondike Turn 1, the goal of the game is to move all cards into the four foundation piles by suit, ascending in order from ace to king. Cards from the stockpile are turned three at a time instead of one at a time, making it harder than Turn 1.
  • Freecell Solitaire: All cards are dealt face up in the tableau. Use the free cells to help organize the tableau and free up cards to move to the four foundation piles, which must ascend in order by suit.
  • Spider Solitaire 1 Suit: You must build a complete descending sequence (king to ace) in the tableau in order to move it to a foundation pile. If you get stuck, use the stockpile to deal a card to the bottom of each of the ten columns. Complete eight foundation piles to win the game.
  • Spider Solitaire 2 Suits: This version is more complicated than 1 Suit because while you can build descending sequences of mixed suits in the tableau, sequences must be the same suit to move them around the tableau as well as to move them to a foundation pile.
  • Spider Solitaire 4 Suits: The most difficult Spider Solitaire variation, you must navigate arranging four different suits to clear the tableau.
  • Pyramid: A game of arithmetic, you must pair cards that add up to 13 to clear the pyramid-shaped tableau.
  • Tripeaks: Clear the tableau by pairing cards that are one rank higher or lower than the top card in the waste pile.

Whatever Solitaire game you choose, you’re in for a fun daily challenge! From straightforward classic Solitaire games to complex Spider Solitaire 4 Suits, you can find free online games on Solitaired to challenge you at all levels.
